Herman Brito holds various leadership positions within the Global Marine Practice. Herman is engaged
on large risk management opportunities and helps resolve complex issues. He services global cargo
and logistics programs for Fortune 100 multinational organizations and provides endless support and
information to clients and colleagues around the world especially in retail, life sciences, transportation,
food & beverage, chemicals, and manufacturing industries. Risk and Insurance Magazine awarded
Herman Power Broker recognition in three separate years for delivering innovative solutions for
Fortune 100 companies while undergoing key mergers and acquisitions. He is bilingual in English and
Spanish and possesses strong technical and analytical skills.
Herman has also been co-leading Marsh’s digital transformation in the marine industry. The COVID-19
pandemic has put the actual nature of global supply chains, integral to the vast majority of businesses,
into a spotlight. Marine Insurance is a key part of international trade and digitalization of insurance
provides an opportunity for businesses to transact marine insurance efficiently. His innovative work in
this space earned him the MMC CEO Award in 2020.
EXPERIENCE
Herman has worked at Marsh for about ten years. Prior to Marsh, Herman worked at Arthur J.
Gallagher, Morgan Stanley, the Boston State House, and a law firm in Barcelona, Spain.
